Great drinks! Bartender was attentive for the amount of people in the bar! DJ Liam was great! Karaoke was fun! He included all songs from guest and threw in some of his own songs once and again! New to the St. Pete bar area but definitely will be returning!

First time coming to this location for the start of football. There was a private raymond james event forcing all us "regular folk" onto the hot patio(for the first game?). The inside wasn't even that packed, seems like a sure way to lose customers if you're gonna try and market yourself as a sports bar. I was very disappointed with the food. Nearly all of the sandwhiches and entres are pre-made. Even the wings which were supposed to be smoked were definitely either saline or water pumped making them pretty gross. One of my friends also had an undercooked item. To top it off the satellite TV went out early in the game forcing us to go somewhere else. The only good thing here was our server. She was very sweet and apologetic about the food and was attentive to our drinks. Probably never coming back again Edit: I forgot to mention but they had a wing special listed on their website and would not honor the pricing that was advertised

It took me some time to come to write a review about this place. I was a little upset coming here, and decided that I needed to wait to write my review. If you come here to drink, this would be decent place. However, I came here on a Friday night. All the other places were packed and this place was pretty much empty. I waited by the front where it looked like someone would greet you, however no one was to be found. I finally walked into the bar area and someone, who looked like the manager of the place, said did someone help you find a place to sit. It so happened the woman in the front who was supposed to help with that was flirting on the side with the security guard, and did so throughout the entire meal(at least at her post though). I finally get seated and place my order. The waitress took my order of wings as an appetizer and a burger as my main dish. I waited a good 20 minutes and the waitress finally comes out with my burger, but my wings were not ready. I made a comment of how I would have liked my wings to come first as my appetizer. She smiled and said this is a common problem. She never offered to scratch it off the bill. The wings came out 6 minutes after my main came out. At this point I didn't want them, but decided to eat them anyways since I ordered them. Disgusting! How do you screw up wings?!? It's a bar, this should be the one thing you don't screw up. I ate only half a wing. The burger was also pretty bad, the bun was soggy and fell apart when I picked it up and the burger was tasteless. The waitress came and asked if I wanted anything else and if I wanted to take my wings to go. I said they were pretty awful, to which see gave a nervous smirk and apologized. Now, any other place would have said, 'let me take that off your bill'. Nope, she charged me for it. I live downtown and I can safely say I will not return there ever again. Not even for a drink... It's sad to see the management is throwing money to employees who don't give a damn about there job. On a Friday night you should be busy as any other eatery in town. I should have taken the hint and walked away when I saw an empty restaurant.

I'd love to give this place 5 stars because the service at the bar was phenomenal. Every bar tender was super nice and accommodating. Drinks were reasonably priced. The reason for 3 stars was the quality of the food. It was pretty bad. The chicken nachos had very little toppings on top. The fish dip was tiny and tasteless. After trying these two items we decided to go elsewhere for dinner...

On a recent bar hopping excursion, I stopped into Central Avenue Sports Bar with a group of friends. The place was dead other than a couple people sitting at a table in the back. The bartender was friendly and offered us some shot suggestions when we asked. For the size of the shots, I think they were slightly overpriced.. It's not like we were getting top shelf liquor or anything. There was a man playing music outside when we arrived, but inside was a girl singing karaoke. As I'm sure you could guess, it was not very impressive. We had our shots and swiftly left.

This place was welcomed because there was not much as far as true sports bar down town. The service was very disappointing. I watched costumes seated by a hostess, when no server came to the table people were leaving. Understandably, I would have left too. My guy ordered the wings, but they were over rated for sure! We won't go back I will say this their front patio is inviting, but don't get sucked in by the deception.

Well I have mixed feelings about the Central Avenue Sports bar. I've been here a couple of times and the food was pretty good. I've tried the flat bread pizzas, the cowboy caviar and the wings. Everything was good but the wings were great, definitely something I would get again. I like my wings crispy so they grilled them a little longer and put the sauce on the side and it was perfect, the flavor was the wings were so good, I really didn't even need to use the sauce. They area that I have some issues with is the service. It's usually not very good service. We had a group 8 to 10 people in the bar area. The servers rarely came over to see if we needed anything else, when we did need something it took them forever to return with beer or our check, often we just had to go to the bar to get what we needed. There were a few times that we needed service but the server was just standing there having a conversation with someone at the bar rather than checking on the tables she had in the bar area. IN addition, the servers in the bar area had an attitude when we needed our check and we asked again since we had been waiting at least 10 minutes. The last time the service was better but we were at an outside rather than the bar area. So overall the food was good but the service needs help.

First time here. We were visiting the market. There's great shade outside and good music. Beer special needs a little help. The corona was cold but needs more lime. We ate the meatballs. Ummm yum and enough for two for a bug snack. Also had chips and salsa. Salsa seems out of a jar but chips were good. The service was pretty good. There were enough servers around that if you needed something you can wave one down.

Nice place, good service, and great food. The outdoor area is nice and clean. I had an Italian sausage flatbread that was awesome. I took a to go order to my wife, it was a Great White flatbread with shrimp. She said it was amazing. Cold proper Stella Artois was great. We are planning a return soon.

Shut down karaoke 2 hours early= lame. Advertised until 3 am. They hate true artists. Haters.

To put it bluntly the food is horrible. How can you ruin wings? Moreover ther service is inept. Our burgers- mediocre at best- were delivered five minutes before the wings. One plus. We were too full to eat the wings which set a new standard for unpalatability. The fries were the only good thing. Really if you're not here to drink don't bother.

We walked on over here since there was a 30-45 minute wait (on a Wednesday night) at our original destination. We were surprised to see the place had changed names again (formerly the Garden, then a sports bar) but were hopeful since Caddy's is a well-known name in the area. The live music outside drew us in, so we opted for a table on the patio. We asked for a highchair and were given a weird look, but a highchair was presented. We were told there wasn't a kids menu which I suppose isn't a huge deal but the place has high chairs and it doesn't market itself as a "BAR only". It was a Wednesday night, not a Friday or Saturday night. Nonetheless we continued with our meal. If I could give the place 5 stars, I would solely on the kindness and attentiveness of Ashley, who wasn't even our server! She saw that my 2 year old was presented with a tall glass of water, no cup with lid like requested. She immediately offered up a cup with a lid after we were told by our 2 servers that there weren't any available. Ashley continued to stop by throughout our dinner to check on us, make sure everything was o.k., giving suggestions for the menu, etc. She was very eager to please and seemed genuinely interested in our experience. We don't like to complain too much, but the beer needs to be colder and the food needs some help. The wait staff is not at all personable and they look like they're at a funeral versus at a place of employment. If you're looking to have your dog catered to with a drinking bowl, this is the place for you. Don't bring your kids. I got the pile up salad, which was smothered in dressing, but besides that it was o.k. My husband got the Cuban. It was meh. The fried macaroni and cheese bites were bland. For $50 you can do a lot better. I hope the kinks get ironed out here. It's a prime location with great atmosphere. If your competitors are on a wait, perhaps cater to those who are there with money to spend.

Although the service here was very friendly the place is sort of a dump. They have their own Central Ave Lager which was on sale for $2 and tasted awful! Like PBR awful. Their drink prices are very reasonable, even the shots, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, it's just not that impressive.

I was excited to find a karaoke bar downtown again - I was severely disappointed. The Karaoke DJ was extremely rude. Playing the songs that his friends put in - that worked there - ahead of other people that were waiting. And proceeding to have whole conversations over the mike with them for everyone to have to endure. The KJ was more interested in hearing his own voice and singing/talking than letting the patrons have the mike. Even though the bar was slow it was hard to get a drink. If they hope to stay open unlike the last three bars that were in this location, I hope they change how they run things.

Unexpectedly great!!! My friends and I stumbled upon this place while looking for a lunch spot. There are so many options in this area but the $1 beer sign got us. I ordered a chicken cesar wrap with fries. My friends got the black bean pico de gallo and a chicken curry soup. Everything we ordered was amazing!!!! The service was also friendly. I'm just so happy we stopped in to this place. If you're looking for great food and cheap drinks, come here and enjoy a game.

This place is full of false advertising.... They say one thing on their signs but it's completely different once you go inside. I would never come back here... Please avoid this place at all cost!

Unfortunately I came back and was not a very pleasant experience. Server was MIA half of the time and when food arrived my friend's kabob steak wasn't cooked properly. When she told the server she just offered to finish cooking her steak instead of making a new kabob. We felt like we were asking other servers for our food and drinks because our server was no where to be found. It will be a while before I give them another try. Wasn't impressed as my first experience.

Great staff with great service, my wife and I tried it for the first time and we were blown away with the service and curious staff. This is now our weekend spot. Prices are amazing like the staff.

Great music and ambiance (Roberto, I think was his name, was great! He came to meet everyone and was taking requests all night.) The food was mediocre at best and the service was terrible. Not only was everything priced like a tourist trap (11.99 for an average hamburger with nothing on it) but we got our appetizers AFTER our meal. The waitresses were the most apathetic I've ever seen and we saw people around us (locals I'm guessing) being served before us. You're basically paying for the live music and the scantly clad women.

I might be overreacting but they just cut down their tree in their courtyard. To me, that was their lone original characteristic in a town that promotes local, original places. This place just lost their only draw in my opinion. They paved over their charm.

Great sports environment. The outdoor patio is dog friendly (although there aren't many tvs out there for sports). Awesome food and drink selection. Great location, great service.

Great spot! Just moved to downtown and this is one of our favorite spots. $10 buckets of 16oz beers and cheap food that is smoked in house. Servers are so friendly and everything we ordered was amazing! Check this one out!

...Great Service ....Excellent Pub Food with a creative spin on good classics. Try the Wings ! Nice balance of 'bar" and "sports bar". Awesome location. Our experience was a very pleasant surprise in relation to other St Pete let downs. Check it out -you will be impressed. We will be back-for sure!

Love this place. We spent all day Saturday (probably too long) watching college football rivalry weekend. The service was awesome and the ribs are to die for (and this comes from someone living in Austin, TX). Totally recommend this place... And who doesn't love beer vessels while they're watching a game? :)

Best wings I've ever had. Reasonably priced and the meatiest, they were nearly the size of a chicken leg. They don't fry the wings smoke and grill then toss in standard sauces. The place is deceivingly large and has lots of TVs and nfl Sunday ticket. Highly underrated bar.

Our blonde waitress was very nice and friendly, if anything she should be running the place. However, that can't be said for particular members of management within this establishment. Whilst in the process of ordering drinks, what seemed to be one of the head managers swooped over to our table and was absolutely CONVINCED that my buddies and I were under 21. We were each forced to show three plus forms of identification as the manager intently scanned every card we handed her, JUST DYING to find a sign of a fake. Whether this interrogation was actually due to our ethnicity is unknown. Very unfriendly and disrespectful to say the least, I would definitely not recommend this place to any young person looking to grab a bite or have a good time.
